Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with your personal data when we contact you as a professional adviser, and when you use this site. It is written for the mailing that brought you here, in which we contacted you without you having contacted us first.
Who we are
This site is operated by IDAD Limited (“IDAD”, “we”, “us”), the firm behind Autocalls.uk. IDAD Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice, and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 740499).

What personal data we hold about you
We contacted you in your professional capacity as a financial adviser, and the data we hold about you is business contact information only: your name, your firm, the firm’s FCA reference number, your professional postal address, business email address and business telephone number, and whether the FCA register shows you as a currently certified adviser at that firm.
If you complete the form on this site we additionally record the details you enter, the fact and time of the request, the campaign code your link carried, your IP address and browser user agent, and whether you opted in to further updates. If you download any of the literature we record which document, when, and the campaign code.
We do not hold, or seek, any special category data about you.
Where we obtained your details
We did not obtain these details from you directly, so we are telling you here.
Your details come from the FCA Financial Services Register, a public register maintained by the Financial Conduct Authority. From it we took the firm’s name, FCA reference number, authorisation status, business address, telephone number and website — and, for you as an individual, the register’s record of you as a currently certified adviser at that firm, together with your professional contact details.
We used the register to confirm the firm holds a retail investment advice permission and has at least one certified adviser, and to make sure we are writing to you at your current firm rather than a former one.
Why we process it, and our lawful basis
We process your business contact details to tell you, in your professional capacity, about structured investment plans that may be relevant to your clients. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — our interest in making regulated advisers aware of products relevant to their professional role, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
We have carried out a Legitimate Interests Assessment covering that balance, and a copy is available on request.
We also keep a server-side record of visits arriving from a campaign link and of any literature downloaded, linked to the campaign code, so that we can measure how the campaign performed. This is held in our server logs, sets no cookies and accesses nothing on your device. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
Electronic marketing and your PECR position
Where you are a corporate subscriber — a limited company, an LLP or similar — PECR permits us to send you relevant professional marketing by email without prior consent, provided we identify ourselves and give you a simple way to opt out in every message. We do both.
Where you are an individual subscriber — a sole trader, or a partnership that is not an LLP — we send electronic marketing only where PECR allows it. Our mailing list for this campaign has been screened so that it contains only corporate subscribers: limited companies and LLPs. Sole traders and non-LLP partnerships have been removed.
You can object or unsubscribe at any time and we will add you to our suppression list.
Who we share it with
We use service providers who process your data on our instructions, under contract, to operate this site and our mailing: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database and document storage), Resend (delivery of the literature email), Cloudflare (bot protection on the enquiry form), Sentry (error monitoring) and lemlist (delivery of our campaign emails).
If you accept marketing cookies on this site we also share measurement data with Google (Google Analytics), Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Meta Pixel) and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Insight Tag) — see the Cookies section below and our Cookies page.
We may also share your details with regulators or other authorities where we are required to by law. We do not sell your details to anyone.
Where a service provider processes or accesses data outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards — such as the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — and we carry out Transfer Risk Assessments. Details are available on request.
How long we keep it
Business contact details used for adviser marketing are kept while they remain relevant to that purpose. If you opt out, we keep the minimum needed to make sure you stay suppressed from future contact — keeping that record is how we honour your objection, not a way around it.
Campaign response records — visits, literature downloads and enquiry submissions — are kept for 24 months from the close of the campaign.
When a retention period expires we delete or anonymise the data, unless we are lawfully required to keep it longer.
Your rights
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. If you tell us to stop, we stop — we do not weigh it against anything.
You also have the right to be told what we hold, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict how we use it, to receive a copy, and to object to other processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email enquiries@idad.com or compliance@idad.com. We respond within one month.
Unsubscribing
Every marketing email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also simply reply asking us to stop, or email enquiries@idad.com. We action unsubscribe requests promptly and add you to a suppression list so you are not contacted again by mistake.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage technologies to operate this site and, with your consent, to measure our advertising. A full list of every cookie and storage entry — what each is for, who sets it, and how long it lasts — is on our Cookies page, where you can also change your preferences at any time.
When you first visit, our cookie banner asks you to choose between Accept all, Reject all, or Manage preferences. Strictly necessary items run regardless — this is limited to the record of your cookie choice itself, which is exempt under PECR. Analytics (Google Analytics) and marketing (the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag) only run if you opt in. We do not pre-tick any boxes, and “Reject all” is presented as prominently as “Accept all”.
Campaign response is also measured server-side from the link you clicked. That record is held in our server logs only — it sets no cookies and accesses nothing on your device, and it is not affected by your cookie choices. The bot check on the enquiry form is Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs in a frame served by Cloudflare and sets no tracking cookies on this site.
Autocalls.uk, our main site, uses cookies and has its own cookie notice. That notice covers that site, not this one.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first at enquiries@idad.com or compliance@idad.com.
